Drilled Lightening Holes in Spacers – 1 hr

All I had time to do tonight was drill lightening holes in the tiedown bracket spacers. The plans call for 1 inch holes but I don’t have a 1-inch drill suitable for 3/16 thick aluminum (only a spade bit for wood) and my adjustable hole drill starts at about 1 .125 and goes up to 5 inches. So I drilled 3/4 holes with a step drill. The extra weight is in grams so I plan to leave them at 3/4. Sorry, no pictures tonight.
